Notes:
I chop or grind about 2 quarts of nuts with my food processor and store them in my fridge to keep them fresh. This saves a lot of time when it comes to preparing dishes. Chopping a lot takes about the same time as chopping a few, and you only have to do it once a month or so depending on your cooking needs. For this particular recipe I like them rough chopped, unlike most other times, so I just use a big knife and do it on the same chopping board I used for cutting the apples. |
